Is there a free trial?
Yes! Pro and Team plans include a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. After the trial, you can continue on the Free plan or upgrade.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your account automatically switches to the Free plan. You keep all your data — you just can't exceed the Free tier limits (1 project, 1 user, 2 languages).
Can I self-host for free?
Yes, partially. The desktop app is always free with no limits — forever. The Docker self-hosted version is open source and runs under the Free tier (1 project, 1 user, 2 languages) by default. To unlock Pro/Team/Enterprise features on your own server, the webapp must be connected to our central auth with an active paid plan. Enterprise self-hosting with full licensing is available — contact sales.
What about the desktop app?
The desktop app (macOS, Windows, Linux) is free with unlimited local projects. It uses SQLite locally and doesn't require a server or internet connection.
What translation providers are supported?
Google Translate (free tier), Google Cloud API, DeepL, Azure Translator, OpenAI (GPT), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini, Amazon Translate, LibreTranslate, and custom endpoints.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel your subscription anytime from the billing portal and you'll keep paid features until the end of your billing period.
